Caliente Resort Beer Festival

My job has taken me to this resort before and I can assure you that she will not be there.  In fact, you must ask yourself if your stomach is strong enough to take in huge quantities of beer and huge quantities of sagging flesh.  Do the ends justify the means?  You owe it to yourself to at least go take a peak. - Bon

Welcome to Tampa Bay

When we left Tampa a decade or so ago, the craft beer scene was, at best, dismal.  Except for a few notable exceptions, the best that you could hope for at a local restaurant or your favorite watering hole, was fizzy, piss water.  Oh sure, there was World of Beer on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater and Lueken's Liquors in Dunedin along with the Dunedin Brewery and Tampa Brewing Company where you could find some decent brews, but for the most part it was swill.

We returned a few weeks ago and were surprised and astounded to find a plethora of breweries and craft beer stores scattered all around the bay area.  We have a lot of catching up to do, so travel along with us as we explore what the region has to offer in the way of breweries, gastro pubs and events all around the region, the state and further abroad.
